Natural Blue Lace Agate Geodes

Blue lace agate is a variegated onyx, more specifically, it’s a variety of quartz. This type of quartz is most commonly recognised by its breathtaking bright blue layers that often include either white or brown hues. Blue lace agate is typically found in forms of geodes in igneous rocks. Blue lace agate is quite a rare gemstone. A few years ago, they thought that Blue lace agate had been completely mined out.

This geode-like material, which comes from the Nsanje region of Malawi, has lovely crystalline exposures and complex shapes. A very nice and always popular stone type due to the stunning mix of  banded white to blue colours. A number of specimens may have dog-tooth Calcite crystals in the geodes. This is selected and cleaned material. Shiny crystals in the vugs and on the plates make this very popular and gorgeous to own.

Each piece is priced and available individually. Please select your preference.
